MAP Conference – ‘An Introduction to Restorative Practice’ – 25 January 2018
The next MAP Conference will be held on Thursday 25th January 2018 at Middlesbrough Football Club. The conference theme will be ‘An Introduction to Restorative Practice’.

Engaging Able Writers Conference – 25 January 2018
MSTA & Middlesbrough English Hub are holding an Engaging Able Writers Conference from Alan Peat which features enrichment and enhancement strategies for able writers, and which will be aimed at Classroom practitioners from Y4-6. Unclaimed Benefit Campaign at Grove Hill Community Hub
Partners from Middlesbrough’s Financial Inclusion group will be running an “Unclaimed Benefits” campaign with drop-in sessions taking place in Grove Hill Community Hub, Bishopton Road, Grove Hill, TS4 2RP form Monday 27th November 2017. Dates and times for all session can be found on the flyer below. There will also be telephone advice available throughout the campaign for those who care unable to attend face to face meetings. Appointments can be booked by telephoning 01642 802303.
Advanced Punctuation Event – 30 November 2017

BAME Women’s Health Conference – Friday 15th December 2017, 10 am to 3 pm

Middlesbrough College Open Event – 2 December 2017, 10 am to 12 noon
Middlesbrough College will be holding an Open Event, offering potential students the perfect opportunity to find out more about the college and the courses on offer. During the event students can visit the interactive subject stands, take a tour of the £100m campus, get free impartial careers advice, find out about great student perks, meet current students and apply for courses.

Macmillan Academy Post 16 Open Morning – Saturday 10th February 2018, 10.00 am – 12 noon
Macmillan Academy are holding a Post 16 open morning on Saturday 10th February 2018 from 10 am to 12 noon. It will be a great opportunity for students from secondary schools across Middlesbrough to go along and look around the Post 16 and find out about courses, business links and university options available to them. Childnet – Consultation for teachers about PSHE and RSE in a digital age
Teachers around the UK are invited to take part in a consultation to shape PSHE and RSE education in schools. By taking part in this consultation you can help to shape SRE and PSHE education to ensure it reflects children’s digital lives.
