The EEF have released their news update for November 2016.

Events

Shirley Clarke will be holding an “Exceeding expectations with formative assessment – the key to pupil progress” course at South Tees Institute of Learning and Research on June 29th next year.

Prince Bishop Teaching School Alliance are once again working with Kathy Bigio to offer a “Developing an environment for learning” course on March 28th 2017 at The Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham. Further information on this can be found on the events page of the MAP website.

Professors Michael Fullan and Andy Hargreaves are hosting a Learning System Change event at Middlesbrough Football Club on the 15th of March 2017. Further details can be found on the MAP event page.

Safeguarding

The Middlesbrough Safeguarding Children Board is looking for a Middlesbrough school representative to attend the Tees eSafety Group as an education lead.

A knowledge of the safeguarding issues involving technology and a desire to drive the agenda in the schools forum would be an asset. The role will involve attending 6 multi-agency meetings a year across the Tees area.
