Engaging Able Writers Conference – Thursday 25th January 2018

MSTA & Middlesbrough English Hub are holding an Engaging Able Writers Conference from Alan Peat, which features enrichment and enhancement strategies for able writers. TeachMeet – Safeguarding, Attendance & Pastoral Care Event – Thursday 25th January 2018, 4.30 – 6.00 pm

Unity City Academy are hosting a TeachMeet event focusing on safeguarding, attendance and pastoral care, where teachers will share their best practice in either a 1 minute bite or a 5 minute master class. The Risk & Resilience Team are holding a Middlesbrough Digital Resilience Annual Conference at Middlesbrough Football Club. Macmillan Academy Post-16 Open Morning – Saturday 10th February 2018, 10 am to 12 noon

Macmillan Academy are holding a Post-16 open morning on Saturday 10th February 2018 from 10 am to 12 noon. The event will be a great opportunity for students from secondary schools across Middlesbrough to go along and look around the Post-16 facilities and find out about courses, business links and university options available to them.

Middlesbrough College Open Event – Saturday 3rd February 2018, 10 am to 12 noon

Middlesbrough College will be holding an Open Event, offering potential students the perfect opportunity to find out more about the college and the courses on offer. During the event students can visit the interactive subject stands, take a tour of the £100m campus, get free impartial careers advice, find out about great student perks, meet current students and apply for courses.

Apprenticeship Event – Monday 26th February 2018

The Tees Valley Network, in partnership with National Careers Service, would like to invite all Year 9 learners to an interactive Apprenticeship Event at Inspire2Learn Centre on Monday 26th February 2018. MAP are currently putting together contact mailing lists for key people in each of the Middlesbrough schools, and have put together the attached proforma of the information we require.
