Head Teachers/Designated Safeguarding Leads

The online presence of extremist groups is growing rapidly meaning access to the extremist narrative within the online space is becoming easier and easier, this is therefore raising the risk of radicalisation to young people and vulnerable adults.

Ensuring young people have the resilience and critical thinking skills to resist such extremist narrative is vital to safeguard them from extremists messages of hatred and division designed to influence and radicalise.

Child net has produced 3 lesson plans and accompanying powerpoints designed for schools to deliver to increase children`s critical thinking skills, please make use of them and feedback to myself about their use.
